I very well understand your passion. I've spent the last 28 years in a business that I was not suited for. I was in a business that I created and owned yet my personality was not suited for the work. I programed for hours at a time in extreme frustration because the work had to be done but it was grueling to maintain concentration. Kept thinking that soon I will be able to hire someone to do the hard part and I will just sell and coordinate things. That did not happen. Then, three years ago, I started working on "me". I wanted more. Went through some personal challenges, as you did, but that just made me work harder. My goal was to become a very attractive person. Not physically. I want be that person who could give to others. Be someone who had something to give. Last fall I was working with a colleague on a couple of different projects. In the course of several conversations he encouraged me to take a personality test. He suspected it may help. WOW! I never dreamed a little piece of information like that could be so powerful. Business is great now and I thoroughly enjoy listening to people of your caliber and determination. Our journeys are totally different but I know exactly how you feel and applaud your work.
